At SANKOTSUYAMA, we offer a private ossuary for your family and ancestors. This plan allows you to use a regular detached house as your private ossuary. After closing your grave and dissolving your ties with the temple, you can prepare your own ossuary and freely visit the grave 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. In ancient Japan, there were places for ancestor worship separate from the home. Religious beliefs and ancestral worship are completely different concepts. You can place the remains in an urn. Of course, since it is privately owned, you will be subject to property tax. However, unlike regular ossuaries, there are no contract restrictions or annual management fees. It truly becomes a space for perpetual memorialization. Since this is a real estate transaction, you will need to pay additional taxes and administrative fees for the title change. Since we require the services of a judicial scrivener, there is usually an additional fee of around 200,000 yen. Upon receiving your inquiry, we will first provide you with information about the property where the ashes will be scattered. After considering your options, we ask you to decide whether to purchase. |
