However, scattering ashes is prohibited near fishing grounds or public beaches due to the risk of causing inconvenience to others and negative publicity, so you must choose your scattering location carefully. Our Ocean Scattering Plans are unique in that the ashes are scattered only during the dark hours of the night, from dusk until sunrise. For all Ocean Scattering Plans, we handle everything from pulverization to ocean scattering. Our Ocean Scattering Plans include COLLECTIVE OCEAN SCATTERING AGENCY PLAN and INDIVISUAL OCEAN SCATTERING AGENCY PLAN, where we handle the scattering on your behalf. We also offer OCEAN SCATTERING CELEMONY ATTEND PLAN, where family members attend the on-site ceremony. The process begins with mailing the ashes via courier. Once you submit your request, please send the ashes via the post office, marking them as "ashes" and paying the shipping fee. As long as the ashes are packaged properly, they can be sent via standard Yu-Pack shipping. Special packaging kits for ashes are available on Amazon and other online retailers, but a standard Yu-Pack box will also work. If you choose to send the ashes via the post office, you will be responsible for the shipping costs. Once the ashes arrive at our company, we will pulverize them into powder. The ashes will then be scattered at a location of your choice. If you select the [COLLECTIVE OCEAN SCATTERING AGENCY PLAN], you will not be able to choose the scattering location. Please note that your application will be limited to one of the locations shown below. The scattering location will be off the coast of Sagami Bay in the Shonan area or off the coast of Tokyo Bay in the Miura Peninsula area. If you have a specific scattering location in mind, please select the [INDIVISUAL OCEAN SCATTERING AGENCY PLAN] or the [OCEAN SCATTERING CELEMONY ATTEND PLAN]. If you select the [OCEAN SCATTERING CELEMONY ATTEND PLAN], the scattering location and timing will be discussed with you. If you would like to keep some of the ashes and not scatter all of them, please select the [INDIVISUAL OCEAN SCATTERING AGENCY PLAN] or the [OCEAN SCATTERING CELEMONY ATTEND PLAN].
